Jason was most recently the Principal Advisor to State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tom Torlakson. At the California Department of Education (CDE), he researched, developed, and supported emergent strategies to advance whole child approaches, including the multi-tiered system of supports, and social emotional learning. Jason is also the immediate past Chair of CREATE CA, a statewide collective impact organization working for increased Arts education in our classrooms. He is a change agent and social entrepreneur who has extensive experience developing organizations, teaching and mentoring, as well as facilitating team-building and group learning processes.
